The Cochrane Consumer Network (CCNet) logoThe aim of the Cochrane Consumer Network is to provide a consumer (patient, care giver or user) view on protocols and reviews during their development - during the peer review process and also earlier, if requested by authors. We have an email discussion list (consumers@lists.cochrane.org) with many of our membership on it (not all on the list are consumers).

A review group, or occasionally an author, sends out a request for a consumer. This process is helped by giving some information about the purpose of the review in plain English.
